Your Lifekind^® mattress is made in a truly pure environment. Our production staff doesn’t wear fragrance, nor do they smoke, and no chemically based product comes through our door. Therefore, there is no chance that our premises or your mattress or bedding can become contaminated.

You can have your mattress made in any desired firmness, with or without an attached pillow top, and in any custom size — even hearts, rounds, or irregular sizes for your camper or boat. We can make custom mattress pads, too.

Our luxurious natural rubber/innerspring Combo was designed to accommodate two sleepers with similar weights and to achieve a softer, more "cushiony" feel in an innerspring mattress. Construction begins with the selection of a traditional Bonnell–style innerspring core best suited to the weights, heights, and sleeping characteristics of the sleepers. The innerspring core is covered with four layers of certified organic cotton canvas and six layers of certified organic cotton padding. These cotton layers are then internally hand-tufted to prevent shifting and minimize body impressions. We complete the internal construction with the addition of heavy–duty side support springs to reinforce the edges. Two inches of Talalay natural rubber are then added beneath the surface on both sides for increased cushioning. Finally, the mattress is covered with Naturally Safer^® pure wool quilted between two layers of the finest certified organic cotton fabric. Approximately 10" deep.

The Combo is also available in a more economical one–sided, "no–flip" version, with natural rubber layer and quilting material on one side only. This lends the one–sided Combo the increased "springiness" found in a traditional innerspring mattress. Approximately 8" deep.

Pair either version of the Combo with our Wood–Slat Foundation for a firmer, more stable feel, or our Box–Spring Foundation for a softer feel with more "bounce." Handmade right here in Northern California from American organic raw materials. (Dimensions may vary slightly.)
