Question:

Does the Queen size bed frame look exactly like the illustration? I like the center cross bar instead of the center leg that sits on the floor underneath. This looks like the support would be sufficient for a Queen size with 6 wheels and the slatted upholstered wood bed frame as a foundation

Answers:

  • Yes, the Queen metal bed fram is just like what is shown in the pcture (with a support bar, rather than a support foot).  This bed frame would definitely offer suffiencent support for one of our mattress with an upholstered wood-slat foundation underneath.

Question:

Can two twins be pushed next to eachother without a large space or even any space between them?

Answers:

  • With two Twin metal bed fames pushed together there will probably be a small amount of space, roughly 1", although this can be fixed by pushing the mattresses a little closer together. To get a tighter fit you might want to consider 2 Twin XL mattresses on a king frame for less of a gap.

Question:

Hello, Do you still require a foundation for this bed frame, or can one put the mattress directly on it? Thank you, Laura

Answers:

  • No, a mattress would fall right through the Metal Bed Frame without a foundaion, since it is open at the bottom. A foundation is indeed required.
