- GOTS-certified organic cotton cover fabric and wool filling
- Ideal for allergy sufferers
- Size: Standard (20x26"), King (20x36")
Our certified organic wool pillow is soft and springy and offers a medium support. It makes a good choice for those who wish to replace either a feather or a poly-fill pillow. Like all our wool products, it resists dust mites, wicks away body moisture, and helps keep body temperature regulated. Handmade in the USA.
Which Loft — Light, Medium, or Full?
Our wool pillows are available in three fill weights. The light loft is perfect for children or stomach sleepers. Back sleepers usually choose the medium. The full loft offers the best support for side sleepers. Depths range from approximately 3" to 5." (Note that wool fillings will compress by approximately one-third over time.)
Wool or Cotton Fill?
Looking for a firmer, flatter pillow? Then the all-cotton is the one for you. Made of pure, pristine, all certified organic cotton. (Note: Cotton fillings will compress by approximately one-half.)
Certified Organic Wool Pillow Care
A pillow barrier cover is the best way to protect your organic pillow. To renew and deodorize your wool pillow, expose to sunlight and fresh air for a couple of hours. To eliminate odors, sprinkle baking soda on the pillow's slightly dampened surface, then when dry, simply vacuum it up. Do not wash. Pillow shams that match our duvet (comforter) covers are also available in most sizes.
My son is 4 years old and has always slept with organic wool. I am having a hard time finding quality children pillows. Any thoughts if the standard light or medium would be appropriate??
The light loft will start out at approximately 3" and the medium loft will start at about 4"... however, the wool will compress by about 1/3. The light loft is probably the most popular option for children, but we would advise you to consider the loft of the pillow he is using now (and to keep in mind the natural compression that happens with wool).
how thick is the flat pillow? I would like to compare it with the one I have back in Italy! Thanks!
There can be a bit of variance, since the pillows are fill by weight (not to a specific height), but the "light" pillow will start out at about 3" deep. Keep in mind that wool compresses by about 1/3 over time.
