Refund policy

We want you to feel confident when ordering from Lifekind. Please review our refund, return, and cancellation policies before placing an order.

Made-to-Order Products

Includes mattresses, toppers, and foundations made or assembled upon order.

Cancellations

  • Within 72 Hours: Cancel by written request within 72 hours of placing your order for a full refund.
  • After 72 Hours (Before Shipping): Cancellations received more than 72 hours after ordering are subject to a 20% cancellation fee.
  • After Shipping Is Arranged: Once shipping has been arranged (or the item is deemed shipped), orders are non-cancelable and non-refundable.

Ship Date Requests

While we will do our best to honor requested shipping dates, specific ship dates are not guaranteed. Orders canceled due to missed ship dates remain subject to our cancellation terms.

Delayed Shipments Beyond 30 Days

While most orders ship within our stated production times, certain items may experience delays. If your order has not shipped within 30 calendar days of placement, you may contact us to request a full refund, unless you have already agreed to a longer production timeline.

Shipment Holds

If you request that an item ready for shipment be held for a later date, the item will be deemed as shipped and subject to the no-cancellation terms.

Returns for In-Stock Products

Applies to standard inventory items (excluding made-to-order and final sale items).

  • Returns are accepted within 30 calendar days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unwashed, and in original packaging with all tags attached.
  • A Return Authorization (RA) must be obtained prior to return.
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is defective or shipped in error.
  • All approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Items that do not meet return conditions may be refused.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Final Sale and Clearance Items: Non-returnable, unless defective.
  • Items Discounted by 50% or More: Considered final sale.
  • Opened or Used Bedding, Pillows, and Toppers: Non-returnable due to health and hygiene standards in compliance with Colorado Revised Statutes § 25-5-305 (2024).
  • All made-to-order products

Damaged or Defective Products

  • Damaged in Transit: Note damage on the bill of lading or delivery paperwork and notify us immediately.
  • Defective Items: Notify us in writing within 5 calendar days of delivery.

We will inspect any reported defect and may, at our discretion, offer a replacement, repair, or refund per our Warranty Policy.

Mattress Comfort Exchange

Eligible customers may request a one-time mattress comfort exchange within 90 days of delivery, after trying the mattress for at least 15 nights. For full details, see our Comfort Exchange Policy.
